Edacious or audacious? Well, why can’t our adventures be both? We often embark on adventures of an edacious, defined as related to food and drink, nature – as such, these seem reasonable to be shared here. Occasionally, these turn out to be fairly audacious, and these often make for even better tales that I hope you will enjoy. Whether a meal at the top award winning food truck in the Bay Area, a Michelin starred dive billed as the cheapest starred meal in the world, or wine tasting in the home of one of the legends of wine country – we are either grateful for the experience or grateful we emerged unscarred from the experience. Nico San Francisco
Getting a reservation for a nice dinner on Thanksgiving is hard and so I book over a month in advance at Nico in San Francisco. Unfortunately at 8:15pm two nights before Thanksgiving, the restaurant realizes they are closed and calls to cancel on me. What happened?
